Chairman, HITEC; SVP, Customer Transformation, Cisco
Professional Achievement Award Recipient

Guillermo is the senior vice president of Customer Transformation at Cisco. He’s a well-respected leader in technology that is known for his ability to bring people together, create change, and foster high performing and diverse teams. Guillermo, who often goes by G, began his technology career in the US Navy and his love of technology led him to Silicon Valley where he led teams for companies like Silicon Graphics, Intelligent Electronics (Ingram Micro) and Alza Corporation. G has been with Cisco for over 19 years and was Cisco’s CIO from 2015 and 2019. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, named the 2014 Best CIO Community Champion by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and CIO to watch by CIO Magazine. G is most passionate about culture and talent - and ensuring we have inclusion in the workplace. He is currently the Chairman of the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) and has received numerous awards and accolades for his involvement with the Hispanic and military veteran communities.

rolando herrera

Owner, Vintner, & Winemaker of Mi Sueño Winery
Entrepreneurship Award Recipient

At 15 Rolando immigrated to Napa from El Llano, Mexico and worked as a dishwasher to support his education. After a job building a stone wall at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, he was hired as a cellar rat and then cellar master. Rolando later became assistant winemaker at Chateau Potelle, winemaker at Vine Cliff, and director of winemaking for Paul Hobbs. In 1997, with 200 cases of Chardonnay, Mi Sueño was born. Today, Rolando dedicates his time to Mi Sueño, Herrera Vineyard Management, and a few consulting clients. He is married to Lorena Herrera and they have six children.

xavier gutierrez

Managing Director, Clearlake Capital Group

Xavier Gutierrez joined Clearlake in 2017 as a Managing Director, focusing on investments, operations, and strategic development. Prior to Clearlake, he was Chief Investment Officer of Meruelo Group and President & Chief Investment Officer of Meruelo Investment Partners, the firm’s investment affiliate. Mr. Gutierrez currently serves on the Board of Directors for Commercial Bank of California, the largest Latino-owned bank in California, and previously was a voting member of the United States Securities Exchange Commission Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Companies. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government cum laude from Harvard University, and his Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School.

Cheyenne VanCooten currently serves as a Diversity Business Partner, Program Manager for the Global Marketing Solutions business at Facebook HQ. Cheyenne has 10+ years of human resources, consulting and career development experience in the corporate, academic and non-profit sectors with organizations including MTV Networks, BET Networks, Nielsen Media, and Baruch College. Cheyenne is passionate about empowering under-represented communities through facilitation, career development and job readiness. She is a proud member of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, ambassador for the Red Shoe Movement, and EOP Facilitator. Most recently, she joined the Associate Board for Covenant House to support their mission of providing sanctuary and support for youth facing homelessness and human trafficking in Oakland. Cheyenne is from Red Hook, Brooklyn and holds an M.A in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a B.A in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz.
